We started up Ruffin’ it Resort on our own—— but would do it with a consultant if we could do it over.

Here is our story : In 2003, Renee “followed her bliss” and focused on her passion for dogs and starting her own business.

Two years was spent conducting a competitive analysis, researching the area for the ideal site, designing the building and evaluating contractors, working with the city on zoning approval, devising a compelling business plan, and securing financing.

Renee figures she could have saved a minimum of $60k if a consultant had been available to help her do it right the first time and avoid expensive “do-overs”.
